Between 10th to 13th July, the Nature Research Centre Institute of Botany in Vilnius (Lithuania) will organise the 3rd meeting of the Grundtvig Learnership Association – PLANT WILD.

During this days, the project partners will discuss about sustainable wild harvesting training, developing the next topics:

1. Wild Harvesting and sustainability State of Art

  • Commercial use
  • Non commercial use

2. Wild Harvesting Legal Framework

3. Wild Harvesting Guidelines and certification

 4. Sustainable Wild Harvesting Training

  • Existing training
  • Need on SWH and future training

Furthermore, some plants harvesting cases will be showed.

They also will have the opportunity to visit some experiences:

  • Čekoniškes (introduction to making of Vilnius palms from wild plants)
  • The Full House Community (organic production of MAP in National Park territory)
  • Dzukija National Park (walking path and training for recognizing MAP; sustainable harvesting of cranberries/mushrooms)
