The 1st Mediterranean Symposium on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants was held in Gazimagusa (Famagusta) in the Turkish Republic of the Northen Cyprus, from 17th to 20th April 2013, receiving researchers specialized in production and pharmacology of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) from more than 30 different countries.

Eva Moré, coordinator of Grundtvig PLANT WILD project attended the symposium and did an oral presentation on the results of the 3rd meeting report on sustainable wild harvesting:
